Subject: Re: [office-metadata] using the wiki

Hi group,

Somehow we have to summarize not only our decisions, but as well the
state of the argumentation of these long threads. If I had understand it
correctly, it was argued and agreed on our last call.
Bernd's proposal seems to be a good way to give these summary a
structure, by setting up a list of problem fields / RDF use cases and
comparing the solutions.

As a first step, five RDF use cases have been noted on the Wiki:
http://wiki.oasis-open.org/office/Metadata_RDF_use_case

Solutions for the following RDF use cases should be compared:

 1. ODF element (subtree) or ODF document is RDF subject
 2. ODF content (literal) of ODF element identical with RDF object
 3. Splitted RDF object literal in ODF
 4. RDF XML has additional RDF subjects about an ODF element (subtree)
or ODF document
 5. Easiness of frequent RDF XML Import / Export

I suggest to add link to each solution beyond the list item.

Bests,
Svante
