Action Items ------------ - Daniel Vogelheim: Create proposal for conceptual packages in the DTD/schema. - done, see below and http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office/200301/msg00027.html - All: Prepare decisions about using the automatically generated Relax-NG schemes and about using compact or XML Relax-NG syntax. - done, see below - Daniel Vogelheim: Prepare specification document for editing - in progress - Michael Brauer: Contact Karl Best about OASIS support in collaborated work on documents. - done, see below Technical details about editing the specification ------------------------------------------------- There is no support by OASIS for collaborated work on specification documents. The TC agreed that further discussions about the technical details of editing the document take place among the TC's editors (Gary Edwards, Daniel Vogelheim and Michael Brauer) only. They will prepare a proposal. Converted Relax-NG schemes/Relax-NG-syntax ------------------------------------------ The TC unanimously agreed to use the automatically converted Relax-NG schemes (available at http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office/200301/msg00022.html) as starting point for schema creation. The TC also agreed to use the XML syntax rather than the compact syntax for its work. Work packages/Working plan -------------------------- The TC unanimously accepted the working packages prepared by Daniel Vogelheim. In this proposal, meta information is discussed earlier than in the current working plan and style/formatting information is discussed separately from the content. Michael Brauer will adjust the TC's working plan accordingly. Discussion of Work Package 1.1 Top Level Elements ------------------------------------------------- - the TC identified no need for a discussion Discussion of Work Package 1.2 First Level Elements --------------------------------------------------- - The differentiation between the elements "styles", "automatic-styles" and "master-styles" was discussed. - There were some discussions about the name of the "automatic-styles" element. Suggested names were "internal-styles", "temporary-styles" and "unnamed-styles". A decision about renaming the element has been postponed until the next meeting. Name suggestions should be made in the TC's mailing list until next meeting. - There were also some discussions whether multiple "body" elements should be supported within one document. TC members are asked to send use cases for multiple "body" elements to the TC's list for discussion in the next meeting. New Action Items ---------------- - Editors: Clarify technical details about editing the specification. - All: Send name suggestions for "automatic-styles" element to TC's list. - All: Send use cases for multiple "body" elements to TC's list. - Michael Brauer: Adjust TC's Working Plan to work package proposal.
