- Phil Boutros: create proposal for unifying change tracking in text and
table documents

Discussion of Work Package 6 Graphical Content
----------------------------------------------
The TC continued the discussion whether graphical content could be
represented using SVG directly rather than in an own schema that is
close to SVG only:

- The TC discussed whether SVG supports user defined style sheets in
addition to CSS and direct properties. This would make it possible to
use the Open Office Format style scheme within SVG. Daniel Vogelheim
will clarify this.

- The TC identified the following areas as being problamatic for using
SVG directly:
    - styles (see above),
    - 3D-objects,
    - text and text formatting contained within graphical objects.
Daniel Vogelheim emphasized the importance of text, because even in
presentations most content is text that is contained within graphical
objects.

- The TC discussed whether it is possible to use SVG directly, but to
only add elements additional and attributes to the SVG namespace. To
check this, it is required to compare the elements from the
OpenOffice.org format with the ones of SVG. Daniel Vogelheim and Michael
Brauer will prepare this comparison.

- The TC unanimously agreed to support David Faure's proposal for
follow-up text boxes on next pages
(http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office/200304/msg00028.html) in
the Open Office XML format.

Next Open Office XML Format TC Meeting

sheets in addition to CSS and direct properties
