Action Items

Data Pilot
The TC unanimously agreed to the Data Pilot Enhancement proposal at

Type detection for unpacked documents
The TC discussed how the type (i.e. text, spreadsheet, etc.) of
documents that are not contained in a package but in a plain file could
be detected. In the OpenOffice.org format, this could be done by
checking the <office:document> element's "office:class" attribute. This
attribute has been removed, because it has become obsolete by adding the
genre elements (i.e. <office:text>, <office:spreadsheet>, etc.) inside
the <office:body> element. For this reason, a type detection by checking
the root element is not possible any longer, but it is required to read
documents until the genre element is found.

The resolve this issue, the TC unanimously agreed to add an
"office:mimetype" attribute to the <office:document> element. It's
values are the MIME types that are used for the packaged variant of
office documents.
