Subject: Use case query regarding numbered paragraphs
I am still far behind the discussion in regard to numbered paragraphs and lists and given my weak technical background I always will be. :-) So this question is just to make sure a particular use case is accounted for in the schema proposals. I raise it because I have seen statements indicating a relationship between lists and numbered paragraphs. One fairly common use case for numbered paragraphs is that they be interspersed by non-numbered paragraphs. For example, state courts in Oregon expect paragraphs in formal legal pleadings to be formatted as follows: >>>
4.
Plaintiff John Jones is a competent adult domiciled within Lane County at Springfield, Oregon. <center5.
Etc. <<< That is, the paragraph number is centered on a line by itself above its associated text. My question is whether there is anything about the current paragraph numbering scheme that is inconsistent with that use case. Best regards, Marbux
