In any case we probably should be doing
a complete review of the schema for 1.2 anyways, regardless of notation,
comparing it to the text of standard. If we do this agains the compact
syntax we can do this all in one pass.

The author of Trang believes this is not true.
I've never heard him go beyond what he is capable of.
