The default value leads to a kind of "auto" behavior, defined in the Unicode Standard as the direction "ON" (reportedly) Are you sure that the default value for text:number-lines is true in OOo? Surely lines are not numbered by default? Some KPresenter default values (all in drawing-page-properties): presentation:background-visible true presentation:background-objects-visible true presentation:display-footer false presentation:display-header false presentation:duration PT00H00M01S presentation:transition-speed medium presentation:transition-style none presentation:transition-type automatic (*) presentation:visibility visible (*) this attribute is ignored by kpresenter, but we always write out "automatic" so that OOImpress works the same way as kpresenter on those files; a good example of unexpected interoperability trouble coming from different default values indeed. -- David Faure, faure@kde.org, sponsored by Trolltech to work on KDE, Konqueror (http://www.konqueror.org), and KOffice (http://www.koffice.org).
