Subject: Re: [office] Action item numbering erata
Hi, thanks Michael. I guess you refering to <quote> The TC has agreed on the following: - graphic styles should be allowed to contain list styles. - names of such list-styles should not be shown by the UI, though they still be referenced like any other style. </quote> I guess this made it into ODF1.0, right? Any chance you can help me finding the appropriate section in the ODF spec, because I'm not sure I understand the above bullet points. Is there more information available? Thanks so much, ~Florian >>> Michael Brauer - Sun Germany - ham02 - Hamburg <Michael.Brauer@Sun.COM> 04/29/08 3:03 PM >>> Hi Florian, you are right. A text:enable-numbering numbering attribute was discussed, but has not been added to the ODF specification. To add it was only a suggestion I made, but the TC has worked out a better solution. You can find it in the following meeting minutes: http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office/200410/msg00039.html Michael Florian Reuter wrote: > Hi, > > some discussions I found: > http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office/200410/msg00013.html > http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office/200410/msg00016.html > http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office/200410/msg00017.html > http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office/200410/msg00019.html > http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office/200410/msg00018.html > > ~Florian > > >>>> "Florian Reuter" <freuter@novell.com> 04/28/08 3:46 PM >>> > Hi all, > > while writing the numbering erata I found an undocumented property text:enable-numbering used by OpenOffice.org and Lotus Symphony. > There was some disccusion about this on the list and I wonder what the final state is. > Looks like the text:enable-numbering proposal from Michael Brauer never made it into the specs so I was wondering what to do here. Personally I agree with Davids analysis that this text:enable-numbering with a special semantik inside textboxes is kind of strange. > > Would be great to discuss this so that I can continue on my action item. > > Michael: Can you provide some background on this issue? > > ~Florian > > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from this mail list, you must leave the OASIS TC that > generates this mail.
