Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-1649) Editor Note: Section17.310 form:spin-button

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-1649?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=11456#action_11456 ]

Patrick Durusau commented on OFFICE-1649:
-----------------------------------------

Suggest slight modification:

"The form:spin-button attribute specifies whether a form control for textual input has spin buttons. Spin buttons are used to increment or decrement all or part of textual value."

That seems underspecified to me. I can imagine all sort of capabilities for spin buttons that would not be easy to interchange. But that is an ODF-Next issue.

> Section 17.310 form:spin-button
> Ed. Note Is this a "should offer" attribute? Advice to the application but not required? Certainly possible but it isn't clear if that was intended or if we are mandating "integrated spin buttons."
