Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-1860) Editor Note: Section18.253 style:direction
[ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-1860?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=11590#action_11590 ] David Faure commented on OFFICE-1860: ------------------------------------- This is strange indeed. For normal text, the direction of writing is controlled by style:writing-mode (which supports rl-tb and lt-rb). I guess the historical reason is that charts and table-cells didn't support all writing modes in OpenOffice? It would seem much more consistent to use style:writing-mode for charts and table-cells too, though. > Editor Note: Section 18.253 style:direction > ------------------------------------------- > > Key: OFFICE-1860 > URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-1860 > Project: OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC > Issue Type: Bug > Affects Versions: ODF 1.2 > Reporter: Robert Weir > Assignee: Patrick Durusau > Priority: Blocker > Fix For: ODF 1.2 > > > Transcribed from ODF_Revised_Editorial_Notes_27May2009.odt > Original author: Patrick Durusau > Section 18.253 style:direction > Ed.
