Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-1606) Editor Note: Section17.393 presentation:class-names

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-1606?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12053#action_12053 ]

Dennis Hamilton commented on OFFICE-1606:

1. I note that section 9.2.15 Style subsection of ODF 1.0/IS 26300/ODF 1.1 all have exactly the same language as that being questioned here.

2. However one resolves the conformance language, I would rewrite the first sentence to read

"The presentation:class-names attribute value consists of a whitespace-separated list of style names with presentation family value."

[3. Is there any doubt that the named styles must actually be defined in a conforming ODF document of any flavor?]

> Section 17.393 presentation:class-names
> Ed. Note: The "should" clause does not really make sense, since we do not state something like that for other attributes. In particular, we don't state that "presentation:style-name" should be supported, although this attribute is unlike the class-names attribute widely supported.
