Subject: Review of the ODF 1.0 Errata 02 draft

Patrick,

I'm sorry for not noticing this before, but there are few items where I
think the current resolution is incorrect:

JP2-5: Now reads: "The text:index-scope attribute specifies whether
index entries from an entire document or from a chapter are used to
construct a table of contents."

The term "index entries" is used in other sections (for instance "use
outline") for the entries in the table of content itself. It may now be
confused with "index entry marks", which would be an error, because
headings and paragraphs that have particular styles assigned are
considered as well.

The question was: "What does "the current chapter" mean?"

Suggestion:

The text:index-scope attribute determines whether the table-of-content
is generated for the whole document, or only for the current chapter*,
where a chapter consists of all those paragraphs and headings which have
the same immediately preceding heading with outline level 1.*

JP2-8: The new description seems to add a relation between the index
entries and the styling of the source. Actually, that shall not exist.
Instead, the index entries are just indented so that those which in the
source appear let's say on outline level 2 are indented compared to
those on level 1.

Suggestions:

The text:copy-outline-levels attribute specifies whether index entries
are indented according to the outline level of their source.

The defined values for the text:copy-outline-levels attribute are:

false: no indentation is added.
true: index entries are indented according to the outline level of their
source.

JP2-16: <table:shape> must read <table:shapes>

JP2-28: The last occurrence of "repeated" must read "repeat", and should
be formatted in "Courier New".

Best regards

Michael
