Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Issue Comment Edited: (OFFICE-1869) PublicComment: svg:viewBox issues

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-1869?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15086#action_15086 ]

Michael Brauer edited comment on OFFICE-1869 at 8/10/09 3:39 AM:
-----------------------------------------------------------------

The attribute name "svg:points" has been corrected to "draw:points" already in ODF 1.1, but the entire text is not contained in ODF 1.2 CD03. Instead, <draw:enhanced> path is mentioned, which is correct, but insufficient.

The paragraph regarding an "implied coordinate system" should indeed be removed.

Suggestion: Change

---
The svg:viewBox attribute establishes a user coordinate system inside the physical coordinate system of the shape specified by the position and size attributes. This user coordinate system is used by the <draw:enhanced-geometry> element.

The svg:viewBox attribute establishes a user coordinate system inside the physical coordinate system of the shape specified by the position and size attributes. This user coordinate system is used by the *draw:points and svg:d attributes, as well as by the attributes of <draw:enhanced-geometry> element and its child elements which specify coordinates.*
----

Further remove the last paragraph:
----
Implementations may ignore the view box attribute. The implied coordinate system then has its origin at the left, top corner of the shape, without any scaling relative to the shape.
