- I suggest further Constraints: 'x and lambda should be integer'.
There is absolutely no reason why lambda should be an integer. lambda is typically thought of the average number of occurrences in the unit time interval. This clearly can be a positive non-integer!
Note that the current draft requires x to be an integer but not lambda. So I am fine with what the draft says. In fact in a follow-up message,on the comment list it was already pointed out that lambda need not be an integer.
ZTEST:
this function yields the p-value for a test. The answer of course depends on which test is performed. As such there is no "correct" choice of test. We just have to choose which one!
