Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Issue Comment Edited: (OFFICE-1870) 17.900text:use-soft-page-breaks

Pagination of spreadsheets works differently (columns and rows). If soft text breaks for spreadsheets are needed, this has to be defined separately. Just allowing the "row" breaks from text documents is not sufficient.

ODF 1.2 does not state explicitly that soft page break are supported by text documents only. While this is clear from the schema, stating this explicitly seems to be reasonable to me. I will submit a separate issue for this.

> The description in 17.900 text:use-soft-page-breaks indicates that "Soft page breaks are only supported within text documents."
> On the other hand "As a child element of a <table:table> element it represents a soft page break between two table
> rows. It may appear in front of a <table:table-row> element.".
> Why aren't these soft page breaks supported in spreadsheet documents?
