Your comment helped me catch a typo in the listed values:
The table:visibility attribute specifies whether rows or columns visible, filtered, or collapsed. Filtered and collapsed rows or columns are not visible.
The defined values for the table:visibility attribute are:
collapse: rows or columns not visible.
filter: rows or columns not visible.
visible: rows or columns visible.
(We did have "collapsed" rather than "collapse.")
Well, the impact of filtering or collapsing is the same, that is the rows or columns are not visible.
Interesting that we define a set of filter elements, the conditions of which can make rows/columns invisible (see 8.6 Filters and following) but we don't define a condition for collapse. That is we use the term "collapse" under table:visibility but we don't define a condition elsewhere that says when a row or column is "collapsed."
Suggestion: That we deprecate "collapse" in this version and drop from future editions. I think filtering covers the same use cases.
