Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-1360) Public Comment:xml:ids discardable - what!? (ODF 1.2CD01)

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-1360?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16039#action_16039 ]

Patrick Durusau commented on OFFICE-1360:

After re-reading the thread of comments and in particular the concerns about specifying data and not application conformance, I think we should simply drop this paragraph altogether. I really don't want to stray into the application side of things, mostly because it would be hard to justify doing it in this case and not others. Which would open up whole areas that we would be better off avoiding.
