Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-2545) 9.4.11<table:named-expressions>, wording

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-2545?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=18021#action_18021 ]

Bart Hanssens commented on OFFICE-2545:
---------------------------------------

Well, it is a bit recursive / confusing:

"The following expressions may have names:
- cell ranges
- expressions"

Is the meaning of the first "expressions" the same as the meaning of the last "expressions" ? In that case, the bullet list is superfluous (since cell ranges are considered to be expressions), simply state "expressions may have names".

If the meaning is different, then it seems to be that a cell range is not always an expression (different bullet, so there has to be a difference, no ?) replace the first occurrence of "expressions" with "items" or something similar
