Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-1185) Public Comment: Re:[office-comment] ODFF: list of suggestions: LINEST

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-1185?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=18852#action_18852 ]

Andreas Guelzow commented on OFFICE-1185:

Perhaps I am confused with regard to the degrees of freedom, since I am not sure for which distribution these are the degrees of freedom. An F distribution has a pair of degrees of freedom. The t-deistribution used to construct prediction intervals has a single degrees of freedom (which is n - 1 - #of x variables if there is an intercept, and n - #of x variables if there isn't.)
