Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Updated: (OFFICE-2226) ODDFYIELD: is yieldirrespective?
[ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-2226?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ] Eric Patterson updated OFFICE-2226: ----------------------------------- Assignee: Robert Weir (was: Eric Patterson) Referring to "Standard Securities Calculation Methods, Volume 1 - Fixed Income Securities Formulas for Price, Yield and accrued Interest, 2007 by Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association" Formula 8 on page 72 covers this. The RV (Redemption) value argument is the Redemption Value of the security per $100 par value, so it follows that the result will be per $100 par value. The Open XML file format documentation (http://www.ecma-international.org/publications/files/ECMA-ST/ECMA-376,%20Second%20Edition,%20Part%201%20-%20Fundamentals%20And%20Markup%20Language%20Reference.zip) has a more readable version of the formula. > ODDFYIELD: is yield irrespective? > --------------------------------- > > Key: OFFICE-2226 > URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-2226 > Project: OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC > Issue Type: Sub-task > Components: OpenFormula > Reporter: Eike Rathke > Assignee: Robert Weir > Priority: Minor > Fix For: ODF 1.2 Part 2 CD 3 > > > Broken out from OFFICE-916 > ODDFYIELD > - doesn't need to say "yield per 100 units" - yield is irrespective of this. > [ed:] TODO: is it? what about the Redemption parameter then, that says "the redemption value per 100 currency units face value". -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
