Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Updated: (OFFICE-2773) 19.583 table:algorithm- "To avoid name *clashed* between different consumers," - wrong tense also- see last sentence, needed?

Patrick Durusau updated OFFICE-2773:
------------------------------------

Summary: 19.583 table:algorithm - "To avoid name *clashed* between different consumers," - wrong tense also - see last sentence, needed? (was: 19.583 table:algorithm - "To avoid name *clashed* between different consumers," - wrong tense)
       Proposal:
Either clashed -> clashes or clashed -> conflicts

namespace conflicts > 7.9 million "hits", namespace clashes -> 600K "hits" (not searched as strings)

Suggest conflicts as the more common usage.

Delete last sentence -> "The namespace bound to the prefix establishes a unique context in which the name is understood to be local."

    Description:
19.583 table:algorithm - "To avoid name *clashed* between different consumers," - wrong tense

Last sentence reads: "The namespace bound to the prefix establishes a unique context in which the name is understood to be local."

OK, trivially true but true for all namespaces. Why say it here? Plus the "understood" language. Simply *is* local.

Suggest Delete.
