Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-2927) 19.192draw:line-skew - first and second lines need correction.

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-2927?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=19528#action_19528 ]

Dennis Hamilton commented on OFFICE-2927:
-----------------------------------------

Or, as another question, since they are in the OpenDocument document, what is a consumer expected to do with them? We can assume that a producer produced what the producer produces in order to have the consumer do that?

I'm not confident about that reading of the first sentence, and I can't figure out how we know the "type of connector" either. From 19.231.2, if that is the answer, the question I have, of course, is how is the draw:line-skew used with each one of these, and what are the values.

Oh my.

> Now reads:
> "The draw:line-skew attribute specifies the generation of the lines that connect the start and end points. Depending on the type of connector, this can vary from one to three distances that move the connector lines relative to their position."
> First sentence: "The draw:line-skew attribute specifies the values used to generate lines connecting start and end points.
> Second sentence: "The type of line to be generated is specified by the draw:type attribute 19.231.2 on the <draw:connector> element. 10.3.10
> Question: Since there can be up to three values given, on what basis does a producer generate and store those values?
