Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Created: (OFFICE-3043)<table:table-template>should be the child element of <office:styles>

<table:table-template>should be the child element of <office:styles>
---------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: OFFICE-3043
                 URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-3043
Project: OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Part 1 (Schema)
Affects Versions: ODF 1.2 CD 05
            Reporter: Mingfei Jia
            Assignee: Michael Brauer
             Fix For: ODF 1.2

In ODF1.2 schema, <table:table-template> is the child element of <office:master-styles>. But OpenOffice presentation implements the <table:table-template> as the child element of <office:styles>. I think <office:master-styles> mainly are used for defining the master page layout and styles. But <table:table-template> is only for defining table styles. In practice, user can create table based on the table template at any place of the document whatever in master page or in slide page. Also, table template is not restricted into presentation table. So I prefer OpenOffice implementation, that <table:table-template> should be the child element of <office:styles>.
