Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Updated: (OFFICE-3355) Public Comment:text:relative-tab-stop-position seem inconsistent

Oliver-Rainer Wittmann updated OFFICE-3355:
-------------------------------------------

    Proposal:
Add following sentence to the first paragraph:
"It is used in the specification for the generation of index entries and table of content entries."
    Assignee: Patrick Durusau

C. Boemann is somehow right.
It is only clear from the schema that this attribute is only used for the templates of indexes and the table of content

Thus, I propose to add certain text.

> Regarding text:relative-tab-stop-position is seems weird that you can't
> specify it for paragraph properties, when the description in 19.857 talks
> about paragraphs.
> And tab-stops refers to a parent element, but nowhere up the chain can
> text:relative-tab-stop-position attribute be specified.
> It's a pretty important obmission since OOo seems to store the same inforation
> in settings.xml as <config:config-item config:name="TabsRelativeToIndent"
> config:type="boolean">false</config:config-item>
> That seems a rather inconsistent place to store such vital information for
> reproducing the same output.
> </text from posting to office-comment list>
