Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-2220) PV: Payment can beomitted if Fv is given

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-2220?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=21417#action_21417 ]

Andreas Guelzow commented on OFFICE-2220:

If the default value for FV is really 0 (as in the current draft) then it doesn't make sense to allow PMT to be optional only if FV is given,
since PV( Rate ; Nper ; ; ) would have to be the same as PV( Rate ; Nper ; ; 0).

Also, we need to know what PMT is assumed to be if it is omitted.

> Apparently in Excel Payment is optional and can be a missing parameter. Check how that does work.
