Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-3349) chart:interpolationshould apply to chart:series

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-3349?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=21669#action_21669 ]

Andreas Guelzow commented on OFFICE-3349:
------------------------------------------

I don't think we need any more discussion on this if we agree that we should reformulate (as in the proposal) to allow this attribute to be used in styles named by chart:series.

Since I didn't add the NEEDS-DISCUSSION I don't think it would be appropriate for me to remove that. Dennis?

There is still the general question whether statement along the form:
" This attribute should be used within ... styles that are applied to a ... element. "
should properly be
" This attribute may be used within ... styles that are applied to a ... element. "

> 20.24 chart:interpolation says:
> This attribute should be used within chart styles that are applied to a <chart:plot-area> element.
> Since different series in the same plot should be able to have different interpolation property this should be:
> This attribute should be used within chart styles that are applied to a <chart:plot-area> or <chart:series> element.
