Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-3252) 19.779text:condition, 19.779.5 <text:hidden-paragraph> copy-n-paste error

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-3252?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=21751#action_21751 ]

Michael Brauer commented on OFFICE-3252:

The sentence in question should be removed. See OFFICE-3249 for details.

Since OFFICE-3249 contains a resolution also for this issue, I will set this one to duplicate and will further remove the needs-discussion flag.

> 19.779 text:condition, 19.779.5 <text:hidden-paragraph> copy-n-paste error
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------
> Key: OFFICE-3252
> URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-3252
> Project: OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Public Review, Text
> Affects Versions: ODF 1.2 CD 05
> Reporter: Patrick Durusau
> Assignee: Patrick Durusau
> Priority: Minor
> Fix For: ODF 1.2 CD 06
> Reads: "If the text:condition attribute is not present, it is assumes that the formula true, meaning that the next row is selected unconditionally."
> (I am revising my opinion on <text:hidden-text> as well.)
> Perhaps this means if text:condition is absent, then the hidden-paragraph never displays?
> Thus:
> "If the <text:hidden-paragraph> element has no text:condition attribute, the condition is presumed to be true and the hidden paragraph is not displayed."
> Why this would be allowed I cannot say.
> Can someone confirm this reading?
