Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Updated: (OFFICE-2014) review all types usedas function syntax parameters/return values and ensure that these types areexplicitly defined types

Robert Weir updated OFFICE-2014:
---------------------------------

    Component/s: Needs Discussion

I've reviewed the complete CD05 text and found two undefined parameter types in use:

"TextOrNumber" is used in the various number base conversion functions, BIN2HEX, etc. We never define it explicitly. Perhaps we should fall back on the syntax "Text | Number" to express the choice, as we do in other places?

We also use the type "Any" in many places, although it is never defined.

> review all types used as function syntax parameters/return values and ensure that these types are explicitly defined types
