In the OpenFormula SC teleconference on 2010-10-12, we are concerned that whatever we might do based on the information currently in hand, we are at risk of defining this function incorrectly.
The suggestion is to remove this from OpenFormula so that we don't perpetuate a mistake.
We are also looking at AMORLINC function and whether its implementation depends on the French Accounting System or is sufficient without requiring that.
We will wait at two weeks to see if there is more information, and if nothing new we will drop AMORDEGRC and simplify AMORLINC to remove the French Accounting from the semantics but leave it in the summary.
