Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Updated: (OFFICE-3493) Part 1 19.598 Addis-true-formula( ) to table:condition

Dennis Hamilton updated OFFICE-3493:
------------------------------------

      Proposal:
 1. In 19.598 table:condition, in the list of defined conditions after the list item for cell-content-is-time() ... add the list entry

   * is-true-formula(expression): true if evaluation of the expression yields a value that corresponds to true in the semantics for the expression; false otherwise

Note: "is-true-formula(expression)" is in fixed-pitch and all occurrences of "expression" are in italic.

 2. In the list of defined value conditions (the second bulleted list) after the list item for cell-content-is-not-between add the list entry

   * is-true-formula(expression): true if evaluation of the expression yields a value that corresponds to true in the semantics for the expression.

Note: "is-true-formula(expression)" is in fixed-pitch and all occurrences of "expression" are in italic.

    Resolution:
 1. In 19.598 table:condition, in the list of defined conditions after the list item for cell-content-is-time() ... add the list entry

   * is-true-formula(expression): true if evaluation of the expression yields a value that converts to logical type value true in the semantics for the expression; false otherwise.

Ed.Note: "is-true-formula(expression)" is in fixed-pitch and all occurrences of "expression" are in italic. The 2 "true" occurrences and the "false" can also be in fixed-pitch (depending on how this is done in other places in the list.

 2. In the list of defined value conditions (the second bulleted list) after the list item for cell-content-is-not-between add the list entry

   * is-true-formula(expression): true if evaluation of the expression yields a value that converts to logical value true in the semantics for the expression; false otherwise.

Created resolution based on improvement of the affirmative proposal.

> The is-true-formula function needs to be defined for table:condition for exactly the same flexibility that it provides in style:condition.
> The proposal allows use of an expression as any condition, either the only condition or the condition that is a defined value condition.
> How any expression defined by a separate formula specification provides a way to refer to the equivalent of cell-content() depends on the formula syntax and semantics.
