Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-2859) 19.733.5<table:sort> table:target-range-address - "as opposed to"?

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-2859?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=23029#action_23029 ]

Eike Rathke commented on OFFICE-2859:
-------------------------------------

Sorry, I missed this. <table:sort> is an element of <table:database-range>, which specifies the source range. If table:target-range-address is not given, the source range is used as target, i.e. the data is sorted in-place. I hope the change applied fits this.

> Reporter: Patrick Durusau

> Presently reads: "The table:target-range-address attribute specifies the cell range for the result of a sort operation as opposed to the source cell range specified by a database range."
> The first part makes sense but not the text following the "as opposed to."
> Is this a hold over from 1.0/1.1, table:target-range-address, page 222 and 227, respectively?
> So should it read: "The table:target-range-address attribute specifies the cell range for the result of a sort operation."
