Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-3430) 20.337style:rotation-angle insufficiently described.

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-3430?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=23173#action_23173 ]

Michael Brauer commented on OFFICE-3430:
----------------------------------------

Andreas: I assume that with above clarification, the resolution works for you. Please note that in addition to what I said in my last comment, where are of course also applications that interpret the attributes as described. So, if we use existing implementations as argument for the changes we made to style:text-rotation-angle, then we certainly can use this as argument for using the proposed resolution as well.

> In 20.337 style:rotation-angle we have:
> "The style:rotation-angle attribute specifies the rotation angle of content."
> as its complete description.
> This attribute can be used with <style:chart-properties> 17.22 and <style:table-cell-properties> 17.18.
> The meaning when used with <style:table-cell-properties> 17.18. seems to be clear, but when used with a <style:chart-properties> 17.22 it is not clear what "content" refers to.
> For example, if this is used in a style applied to an axis, what is the content of that axis? (OOo3.3 seems to use this attribute to indicate that each individual label is rotated while Gnumeric uses style:text-rotation-angle for that purpose.)
