The suggested correction is inconsistent with the text. 

The current text reads (in part): "If the value is alpha-numeric, string comparison as specified by the other attributes of <table:sort> element is used for sorting."

The note says (in part): "The following illustrates how two strings shall be compared if the attribute value is integer or float."

Which is inconsistent with the attribute values of integer or double. (Correction?)

As far as I can tell, the alpha-numeric algorithm spoken of in the note is never defined. 

However, I also think it is too late for this version to start defining things like alpha-numeric sort algorithms.
