Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Updated: (OFFICE-3470) Reconcile the uses ofxml:id that obsolete an ID attribute from ODF 1.1
[ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-3470?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ] Michael Brauer updated OFFICE-3470: ----------------------------------- Issue Type: Bug (was: Task) I have turned the issue type into "bug", since it appears no longer to be a task. I agree to the resolution that is outlined in the comments. I would have no objections to delete the sentence "When consuming OpenDocument v1.0 and v1.1 documents, OpenDocument consumers should process text:id attributes as they were xml:id attributes.". But if we do so, we should so also for anim:id, draw:id and form:id. > Reconcile the uses of xml:id that obsolete an ID attribute from ODF 1.1 > ----------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: OFFICE-3470 > URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-3470 > Project: OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC > Issue Type: Bug > Components: General, Part 1 (Schema) > Affects Versions: ODF 1.2 CD 05, ODF 1.2 CD 06 > Reporter: Dennis Hamilton > Assignee: Dennis Hamilton > Fix For: ODF 1.2 CD 06, ODF 1.2 CD 07 > > > There needs to be schema adjustment and text adjustment to make clear that we are requiring use of xml:id where ODF 1.1 has a different ID attribute. The different attribute is no longer an ID and it may only appear if there is also an xml:id. > This issue is to identify all of those places and ensure that the descriptions and the schema are adjusted appropriately. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
