Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Issue Comment Edited: (OFFICE-3691) Wrongreference to XSL section

------------------------------------------------------------------

Robs observation is correct. This is not pertinent to DCOR2.

In addition Francis Cave figured this out when working up DCOR2 and AMD1. (I believe that Francis found the error in two places.) We also noted that we could make the correction in ODF 1.1 Errata 01. I believe the correction is in AMD1, conditional on our aligning ODF 1.1 with Errata 01. If not, it is because Francis expects we will bring the alignment from Errata 01 to AMD1. I will have to check on that.

But either way, I agree that this is not an actiion that we should take with regard to DCOR2. It is in effect a new defect report against ODF 1.0 and IS 26300.

I believe that Muratasan has raised a technical reason why having it in a 2630/COR is important, although I don't understand the weight given. The ideal approach is if ISO re-issues 26300 with COR 1-2 and AMD1 integrated. There is nothing stronger that would put implementers and purchasing organizations on notice that the new text applies.

> This comment received from the Japanese NB to the SC34 ballot of DCOR2, which is the ISO version of OASIS Approved Errata 02.
> 15.4.19 of ISO/IEC 26300 mistakenly references subsection 8.8.4 of XSL.
> Add an editing instruction to 15.4.19 of ISO/IEC 26300:Replace a reference to 8.8.4 of XSL by a reference to 7.8.4 of XSL.
