Dear Michael

Thank you for your inspiring leadership over the years.  Your contribution has meant a lot to me personally, but particularly to the efforts of the South African government and others, particularly in Africa and South America, for whom the ODF project under your leadership has been an inspiration and a concrete means to achieve greater self-determination in government IT systems.  Aluta continua - the struggle continues.  All the best for your future projects.
