Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-3771) Public Comment: 2's complement negative and 10 binary digits

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-3771?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=31416#action_31416 ]

Patrick Durusau commented on OFFICE-3771:

I understood the request to be for the ability to convert numbers into negative base 2.

Meaningless for bases other than 2 to be sure but is that the answer to a need for numbers expressed as negative base 2?

The default is being proposed as 10 digit but to support values up to 64 (I understand that as a separate issue from the negative base 2 issue.)

Are there any negative base expressions other than base 2? (Just in case.)

> Use the optional 3th parameter: 'Integer MinimumLength' to specify the bit
