Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-3747) Public Comment: sigmoid curve fitting in trend lines

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-3747?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=31485#action_31485 ]

Andreas Guelzow commented on OFFICE-3747:
------------------------------------------

If the submitter had included an explanation how to (mathematically) calculate the parameters for the two sigmoid functions, then I would see no problem with including it. We surely should have that description also or the existing regression types. (And we could get some of them by the appropriate copying from Part 2.

Perhaps we should ask the submitter for the mathematical specification how to calculate these trend lines.
