I was under the impression that over the last years the committee has always cancelled meetings that collided with civic holidays in the country of a participant if the participant raised that conflict. Uncanceling the Aug 3 meeting would be a departure from that custom. If the majority of the membership wants to do that so be it, but, in my opinion, that should have been raised at the last meeting.
In any case, I will not be attending the August 3 meeting.
