HI,
I just noticed that our north-american time change happens on
March 11th, i.e. before our next meeting. SO at what time do we
have the next meeting. I assume that in north-american areas
without daylight savings time the local time of the meeting does
not change (or does it?)

Patrick: Michael suggests priority on issues that have proposals, easiest to resolve for meeting discussion - Thorsten likes the proposal
Patrick: Regina - make the cut with a date - on issues that can't be resolved. -
Patrick: set April 2nd for deciding date on ODF 1.3 - also issue roll up version of all changes to date
Patrick: Michael says April 2nd is Easter Monday, so no meeting that day. - No ODF meeting on April 2nd -holiday
Patrick: Set April 9th for setting date for ODF 1.3 - also issue roll up version of all changes to date
Patrick: Regina wants to get the important issues in but when she touches text she finds errors -
Patrick: Regina - that's the experience of all editors!
Patrick: Regina - perhaps early summer - if we get a new version every two years, not so much harm to wait for the next version
Patrick: Andreas - can work with any date, need to have a deadline - no strong opinions.
Patrick: For following meetings, prioritize issues with proposals for meeting discussion
Patrick: Regina commented rejecting the proposal - also impacts kerning
Patrick: Regina - need to comment on kerning because the text becomes wider
Patrick: Regina- proposal is OK, but problem with kerning
Regina Henschel: Write VA and apply a border to V and a border to A and measure the width.
Patrick: Kerning and description of the rendering, location of the borders -Thorsten will explore
Patrick: Regina - have the same problem with background to a character
Patrick: Andreas - can change the layout or not.
Patrick: Thorsten takes an action item to update the proposals in light of these comments
Regina Henschel: Word uses "washout" as word.
Patrick: Contact Jos about Caligra's position on this proposal
Patrick: Regina - need to correct luminance language before we can give the algorithm here.
Patrick: Next meeting, March 12th
