Subject: Chat notes 28 Jan 2019

Greetings!

The ODF TC chat notes from 28 January 2019 are below.

Hope everyone is at the start of a great week!

Patrick

*****

Andreas J Guelzow: February 18th is a holiday in Alberta.
Michael Stahl: June 10 is holiday in Germany
Andreas J Guelzow: May 20 is a holiday in Canada
Patrick: Easter Monday - 18 February, 22 April, 20 May, 27 May, 10 June, 2019
Patrick: No TC meetings on 18 February, 22 April, 20 May, 27 May, 10 June, 2019 (holidays)
Patrick: Patrick: Regina sees a problem with a default value - can be defined by style:leader-type or style:leader-style - a default one could conflict with the other. - if no default- clear that style:leader-style is used when style:leader-type is missing

Patrick: Andreas points out that style:leader-type is none, single, doubt but doesn't specify style, which is in style:leader-style.

Patrick: if none, then style doesn't matter

Patrick: continue next week
Patrick: Regina - can use none as the default -
Patrick: Regina: Do we need a preference between type and style? or comment that not all consumers may support all combinations of type and style
Patrick: perhaps comment in tab stop - consumers need not support all attribute values
Patrick: Should we have a comment that the behavior of consumers for style:leader-type and style:leader-style are not well defined. Clearer requirements for consumers will be addressed in a future release.
Patrick: Regina - put comments into comment (JIRA) and not into the specification - leave as now.
Patrick: Resolve to make no changes to fix this issue.
Patrick: Regina - clearer to close it - need a new issue on mixing attributes -
Patrick: Patrick - create new issue that captures mixing style:leader-type and style:leader-style with different values
Patrick: Michael sees no reason for it to be missing
Michael Stahl: <define name="text-table-index-source">
<element name="text:table-index-source">
<ref name="text-illustration-index-source-attrs"/>
Michael Stahl: ->
Michael Stahl: <define name="text-illustration-index-source-attrs">
<interleave>
<ref name="text-index-scope-attr"/>
<ref name="text-relative-tab-stop-position-attr"/>
Patrick: Close - optional attribute so no default required
Patrick: Regina, are you saying a list could be: "blah;blah";"blah";"blah;blah" - what encloses all the strings as a single string?
Regina Henschel: "blah;""blah;blah"";blah";"blah;blah"
Patrick: double quotes are ignored until you reach the single double quote at the end
Patrick: close issue for the semi-colon
