Subject: Notes from ODF TC Conference call - 9 December 2019

Our notes from the ODF TC teleconference call on 9 December 2019 are below.

Patrick: Minutes of Nov. 4th - approved by consent

Patrick: General:
- Some Normative References appear to be outdated. Marina Latini also noted something similar [3].
Patrick - To respond would require tracking which sections of XSL were updated by CSS to determine if they have changed the definitions we use.
Patrick - If those definitions have changed, that could impact current implementations, which is not the aim of this point release.
Patrick - If those definitions have not changed, then the current citations are sufficient.

Patrick: My suggestion is just that we haven't updated the value definitions by concious choice.

Patrick: Non-material changes approved by consent
Patrick: does the background become transparent too or only the character itself?

Patrick: Open, put to ODF-Next, until ready, then ODF 1.3

Patrick: have in XSL not only direction but group orientation - not in ODF - Regina suggests we make our own values to describe this geometrical version of writing mode
