Patrick: changes to agenda - add Office-3022 to the agenda (Regina)
Patrick: agenda approved by consent with that change -

Patrick: bitmapSource
Patrick: if we mean just any old bitmap, then all bitmaps are raster
graphics so it's redundant
Patrick: Michael says bitmap here is a generic term
Patrick: from a vector or raster graphic -
Patrick: from an image (Michael) - (Regina suggests can be drawing as
well) - file new issue
Patrick: Andreas - shows up in 20.142 luminance and 20.112 contrast as
well -
Patrick: Francis - need to look at other sections that use bitmap or
raster graphic beyond these.
Patrick: Yes, need to sweep more generally
Patrick: draw:gamma - Francis noted.
Patrick: bitmap graphic used in note to draw:image (Francis)
Patrick: "a source bitmap or raster graphic" -> "an image" - amendment
to the proposal draw:luminance + draw:contrast + draw:color-mode
Patrick: Regina's proposal, with image language, adopted by consent

Patrick: Francis:

4.7 Empty Cell

ÂÂÂ Whatever is said here should, I think, be consistent with the
function ISBLANK() returning TRUE. I think that the term empty cell is
useful, because I think that the text would be less readable if it
always made reference to the function ISBLANK().

4.8 Reference

ÂÂÂ This is a good case in point. The sixth paragraph would be much
harder to read if we had to eliminate the term empty cells.

4.11.8 Criterion

ÂÂÂ Move the reference to 4.7 from the second bullet point up to where
the term empty cell is used for the first time in the second paragraph.
ÂÂÂ I dont think that the bulleted list is presented very well. I would

ÂÂÂ A Number or Logical value. A matching cell content equals the Number
or Logical value.
ÂÂÂ A value preceded by a comparator (<, <=, >, >=). 6.4.9
ÂÂÂ An optional value preceded by = 6.4.7. If the value is omitted, a
matching cell is an empty cell.
ÂÂÂ An optional value preceded by <> 6.4.8. If the value is omitted, a
matching cell is a non-empty cell. If the value is included, any cell,
including empty cells, are matching cells.

Note: "=0" does not match empty cells.

For = and <>, if the value is not empty and cannot be interpreted as a
Number type or one of its subtypes and the host-defined property
against the entire cell contents, if false, comparison is against any
subpart of the field that matches the criteria. For = and <>, if the
value is not empty and cannot be interpreted as a Number type or one of
its subtypes, 3.4 applies.

4.11.11 Criteria

ÂÂÂ Add explicit link to 4.7.

5.10.5 Automatic Range

ÂÂÂ Add explicit link to 4.7.

5.12 Constant Errors

ÂÂÂ Table 4, row 1 (#DIV/0!): Add explicit link to 4.7.
Patrick: Regina can we take "empty cell" as a technical term and make it
a reference to 4.7 - set in a different typeface -
Patrick: Regina - when we use empty cell in the sense of 4.7 - has a
special typeface, empty in the normal sense, just written normally \
Patrick: Francis agrees -
Patrick: An *empty cell* is neither zero nor the empty string, and an
*empty cell* can be distinguished from cells containing values
(including zero and the empty string). An *empty cell* is not the same
as an Error, in particular, it is distinguishable from the Error #N/A
(not available). [Just to capture this graphically.]
Patrick: Andreas - some confusion on what is meant by "empty" cell. test
file - A9 contains empty string
Regina Henschel: 4.7 itself, 4.11.8 OFFICE-3764, 6.18.41 6.18.42 LINEST
Patrick: Regina - contains <textï> as content - image is part of cell,
annotation is part of cell
Patrick: Regina - agree on term but what is it?
Patrick: Regina - description isn't enough to define it now
Patrick: Regina - can have a cell with a formula but no content
Patrick: Patrick - does empty exclude markup in a cell?
Patrick: can have a child element and still the cell is empty
Patrick: Regina on that last comment
Patrick: What can cells contain and what of those things qualifies as
Regina Henschel: The table:table-cell element is used for text tables
too and contain nearly all.
Regina Henschel: 9.1.4 <table:table-cell>
Patrick: Thanks!
Patrick: Adjourned
