Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (OFFICE-4096) OpenFormula part, 6.5 Matrix Functions, 6.5.1 General: confusion of row and column indexes
Michael Stahl created OFFICE-4096: ------------------------------------- Summary: OpenFormula part, 6.5 Matrix Functions, 6.5.1 General: confusion of row and column indexes Key: OFFICE-4096 URL: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-4096 Project: OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC Issue Type: Bug Components: OpenFormula, Part (Formula) Affects Versions: ODF 1.2, ODF 1.3 Environment: OpenDocument-v1.3-cs02-part4-formula.odt Reporter: Michael Stahl The formula in 6.5 Matrix Functions, 6.5.1 General is confusing: The bottom right value is a_\{MN} - which is inconsistent with all the other values in the matrix, which are a_\{N1} ... in the same column, and a_\{1M} ... in the same row. The text says: "The elements of a matrix are denoted by the corresponding lower case letter and subscripts, which defines the row and column number." Â (Trivial additional typographical nit: there is a line break, not a paragraph break at the end of this sentence.) -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.3.3#803004)
