Subject: Re: [office] ODF TC Proposed Agenda for 12 October 2020

Svante,

Thanks!

So 4 should read:

Do members of the TC approve requesting that TC Administration initiate
a Special Majority Vote to approve OpenDocument v1.3 contained in
https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/office/document.php?document_id=67826
as a Committee Specification? The TC affirms that changes have been made
since the last public review. The changes made are documented in
https://github.com/oasis-tcs/odf-tc/pull/30Â . The TC judges these
changes to be Non-Material in accordance with the definition in the
OASIS TC Process
(http://www.oasis-open.org/policies-guidelines/tc-process#dNonmaterialChange).

Assuming I have copy-n-pasted correctly.

Yes?

Patrick

Hi everyone,

just a minor a correction to the agenda, as the bundle of deliverables of our CS02, is
https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/office/document.php?document_id=67826
(or directly https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/office/download.php/67826/cs02-20201012b.zip)
and not the current link in the agenda, which is the first version of the ZIP
https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/office/download.php/67823/cs02.zip , where Paul and I had been crosstalking Â;-)

Till soon,

2. Motion (simple majority): Approve the Agenda

3. Motion (simple majority): Approve minutes of 05 October 2020
https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/office/email/archives/202010/msg00012.html

4. Motion with recorded vote:

Do members of the TC approve requesting that TC Administration initiate
a Special Majority Vote to approve OpenDocument v1.3 contained in
https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/office/download.php/67823/cs02.zip

5. FTI - Disposition of comment statement of comment received during
public review.

The ODF TC received one comment during the public review for
OpenDocument-v1.3 cs03

Mike Kaganski submitted a comment on time calculations in ODF 1.3,
https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office-comment/202009/msg00001.html,
the TC acknowledged that comment,
https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office-comment/202009/msg00002.html,
and created OFFICE-4094 to track that issue. On October 5, 2020, the TC
discussed the comment by Mike Kaganski,
https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office/202010/msg00012.html, and
set the issue, which has existed since ODF 1.2 and no implementer could
implement the solution given by ODF 1.2, set the issue to ODF 1.4.

No other comments were received.

6. "New Issues" Regina forwarded this link to the mailing list that
captures all issues marked "new," that is the TC needs to accept, close
or otherwise dispose of them. The default order is from the most recent
to the oldest and unless someone has a preference for a particular
issue, I suggest we take them up in that order.
https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-3688?jql=project%20%3D%20OFFICE%20AND%20issuetype%20in%20(Bug%2C%20Improvement%2C%20%22New%20Feature%22)%20AND%20status%20%3D%20New%20AND%20fixVersion%20%3D%20EMPTY

7. Other business?

8. Adjournment.

Hope everyone is at the start of a great week!

Patrick
