Subject: General question on not tracking document styles
Greetings! Is the non-tracking of styles in documents analogous to not tracking the results of recalculation of values in a spreadsheet? That is if I change a value in a style, which result in the appearance of text subject to that style changing, I can track the change of the value in a style, but the text that "changes" as a result of that new value in a style is not tracked. Yes? The text will change from the application of the style with a new value so it would be tedious to track every place where text had changed. Yes? Because styles have implied semantics, I think tracking changes to them could be important but that doesn't require tracking every bit of text that changes because of the change in style. Hope everyone is having a great week!
