Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (OFFICE-3843) [text] additional text-properties for extra border attributes

    [ https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-3843?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=78679#comment-78679 ]

Michael Stahl commented on OFFICE-3843:
---------------------------------------

(a first draft, this could be added ... in 6.1.7 <text:span> ? as a new subsection of 6.1 ? or in 20.183 fo Border Properties, 20.183.1 General ?)

A padding+border+shadow box is
* a sequence of spans with equal text padding/border/shadow attributes
* a part of a paragraph that has text padding/border/shadow attributes which are not overridden by a span

The padding+border+shadow box has its left border at its start and its right border at its end; in case it is broken across multiple lines, additionally the line breaks do have left and right borders.

Text padding+border+shadow is applied around the bounding box of the text.

Any padding+border+shadow in paragraph-properties is applied around the text one.
