Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (OFFICE-3843) [text] additional text-properties for extra border attributes
[ https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-3843?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=78694#comment-78694 ] Regina Henschel commented on OFFICE-3843: ----------------------------------------- The CSS team has noticed, that there is a problem in how a box is broken at line breaks and page breaks . They propose a new property {{box-decoration-break}}. [https://www.w3.org/TR/css-break-4/#propdef-box-decoration-break] Â To allow authors to get the appearance as in CSS (text is written on top of shadow) or as in Word (opposite side of a shadow is expanded too), the fo:margin attributes have to be allowed for text spans too. Â The CSS3 module "CSS Backgrounds and Borders Module Level 3" is still Candidate Recommendation at least until 22 February 2021. But I have doubts that we can use it for our purposes, even if it becomes a Recommendation by the time ODF 1.4 is finished.
