Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (OFFICE-3843) [text] additional text-properties for extra border attributes
[ https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-3843?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=78870#comment-78870 ] Michael Stahl commented on OFFICE-3843: --------------------------------------- > The element text:ruby-base has no attributes and does not reference any style. Do you mean <text:ruby> (<style:style> of family ruby) or <text:ruby-text> (<style:style> of family text)? i can't be sure what i meant but probably it was text:ruby, but a ruby family style can have only ruby properties, not text properties, so i agree it should be removed. > What about character anchored objects like Math-objects or images? Shouldn't they be included into the border too? yes, they are treated as characters. > Further question: What should happen in case of nested span elements, if the padding/border/shadow attributes in their styles are different? Nest the borders? Or "wins" the outmost one? there is never more than one character box... there can be a character box and a paragraph box around it. the innermost border/shadow overrides the outer ones, same as for other properties. > [text] additional text-properties for extra border attributes > ------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: OFFICE-3843 > URL: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-3843 > Project: OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC > Issue Type: Improvement > Components: Formatting Properties, Paragraph, Part 1 (Schema), Text > Affects Versions: ODF 1.2 > Environment: This is an enhancement, described in terms of changes to OpenDocument-v1.2 > Reporter: Thorsten Behrens > Priority: Major > Fix For: ODF 1.4 > > > Improve interoperability with other text processors and HTML, by enabling round-trip of additional character style properties. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.3.3#803004)
