so it looks like if you set style:writing-mode="rl-tb" on a paragraph, its fo:margin-left is applied on the right side, so it's more of a margin-start than a margin-left.

the tab stops switch to starting at the right as well.

tab stops set by list-level are not relative to the margin set by the list-level.

apparently if the list has fo:margin-left > text:list-tab-stop-position, an additional tab-stop is created at the fo:margin-left position.

it looks like combining RTL and tabs and lists does not work well in Writer.
